Wheel-spinning its way into cinemas, this April sees the return of Dominic Toretto and his family as once again the laws of physics are broken in a squeal of burning rubber in Furious 7.

Universal Studios have posted this brand new featurette containing raw footage from the shoot of James Wan’s first and the seventh part of the Fast and the Furious franchise including actor and producer Vin Diesel (Riddick) waxing lyrical about the maturing nature of the saga, Jordana Brewster (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning) on upping the ante, and Michelle Rodriguez (Girlfight) on how sometimes family can get a little crazy.

Speaking of family, that tight unit got a little smaller this past year with the tragic passing of Paul Walker and, if early reviews are anything to go by, Furious 7 is a surprisingly touching tribute to one of its fallen heroes.

The film continues the crews global exploits in the unstoppable franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel (Pitch Black), Paul Walker (Brick Mansions), and Dwayne Johnson (The Scorpion King), lead the returning cast of Fast & Furious 7. The hugely successful franchise also welcomes back Michelle Rodriguez (Machete), Jordana Brewster (Home Sweet Hell), Tyrese Gibson (Transformers), and Chris "Ludacris" Bridges (The Hangover).

They are joined by international action stars new to the franchise including Jason Statham (Parker), Djimon Hounsou (Gladiator), Tony Jaa (Ong Bak), Ronda Rousey (The Expendables 3) and Kurt Russell (Big Trouble in Little China)

The film is set to open in theaters across the United States on April 3.
