Thinly-veiled threats and enough Colombian marching powder to down Gordon Gecko are the order of the day in Kill Your Friends, the story of just far will his A&R man Steven Stelfox (Nicholas Hoult) go to find the next big thing.

Adapted by John Niven from his own 2008 novel, Kill Your Friends finds 27-year-old Stelfox carving his way through the London music industry; storming across the global in search of the next massive hit (in both senses of the words), and making the odd chilling threat to anyone who gets in his way.

Owen Harris (Holy Flying Circus, Black Mirror) is here directing his first feature film. Regular Christopher Guest alumnus Jim Piddock joins Hoult in the cast playing Derek Summers, the managing director of Stelfox’s record label. And also along for the ride are James Corden, Austenland's Georgia King, Da Vinci's Demons' Tom Riley, Deadpool's Ed Skrein, Submarine's Craig Roberts, The Hallow's Joseph Mawle and Bunny & The Bull's Edward Hogg.

Kill Your Friends is out in the UK on November 6.
