Unfortunately for those anticipating Mortal Kombat X on last gen consoles, it looks like Warner Bros. Interactive has canned the PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360 versions due to quality issues.

According to a post on the WB Interactive Entertainment forums, the developers stated that despite hard work trying to make the game the best that it can be, it was not possible to bring it to the same quality level as the versions on current gen systems.

Here's the post:

“We were not able to get the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions to the quality expected of a Mortal Kombat game and are very sorry for not being able to deliver the products as originally planned.
If you pre-ordered Mortal Kombat X for PS3 or Xbox 360, please go to the retail location where you pre-ordered the game and you will receive a full refund.”

Last gen versions of Mortal Kombat X were originally expected to arrive alongside PC, PlayStation 4, & Xbox One copies in April, but eventually were pushed from June, to a Q3 window, and eventually a fall 2015 expected release before being canceled entirely.
