Anne Hathaway Bosses Robert De Niro Around in The Intern
From an intern herself in The Devil Wears Prada to the head of the firm, Anne Hathaway certainly has come a long way when it comes to movie occupations. Lucky for her own intern, Robert De Niro, she’s no Miranda Priestly in this, the latest trailer for The Intern.
Written and Directed by Nancy Meyers, the film sees Robert De Niro stars as Ben Whittaker, a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin, played by Anne Hathaway.
While there’s no shortage of old man gags, the pair soon form a mutual bond, with Hathaway’s Ostin looking for the perfect life balance between work and home life.
The Intern opens September 25. Also starring are Rene Russo, Adam DeVine, Nat Wolff, Andrew Rannells, and Anders Holm.
