Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 Release Delay
Yet another release date pushed for CI Games' Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 as beta feedback reveals the team need to make some final adjustments.
The game was originally due in January before it was delayed in February and then into early April. Now popping heads with sniper fire should be no later than by the end of April. Ghost Warrior 3 introduces an open world to the series.
“We’ve worked tirelessly creating a whole new Sniper Ghost Warrior experience set in an ambitiously crafted open world new to the series. While it’s an unfortunate decision to delay the game one last time, we believe these final changes will result in a better experience for players worldwide on day one. Thank you for your patience – we know the wait will be worth it," said Marek Tyminski, CEO of CI Games.
In Ghost Warrior 3 we take the role of American Marine Captain named Jonathan "Jon" North as he goes about his covert business in Georgia, while a civil war and a proxy war have erupted between major factional powers. Jon must track an antagonistic intruder who seeks to start a new Cold War.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 releases on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 April 25th, 2017.
