Star Trek Beyond Delayed Over IMAX Screenings To July 22nd In US
Not even Captain Kirk and his trusty Science Officer Spock can overcome a scheduling conflict for IMAX screenings in the US, as all that science fiction is undone by Warner Bros.' Tarzan.
Paramount Pictures just can't turn away all that extra fists full of box office cash that an IMAX release can bring a movie and so Star Trek Beyond has been delayed a few weeks to nearer the end of July 2016 in the US. The UK premier will continue for July 8th, 2016 for now. This is the first new Star Trek movie not directed by JJ Abrams, who is busy with another space-faring adventure called Star Wars.
