Gotham season 1 may still be airing, but that hasn't stopped them from teasing what, or rather who, is to come in the show's already confirmed second season.

Producers of the hit show chronicling a young Jim Gordon beginning his career of policing the insanely dangerous city of Gotham have thrown a couple of names out for fans to wait for. So far, they have said that Gotham will present it's own unique takes on Mr Freze, Clayface, Hugo Strange, the Mad Hatter, and Tommy Elliot. Tommy Elliot, the villain Hush, is a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne's and seemingly appeared in season one as a bully at Bruce's school.

They also revealed that we would be seeing more of Edward Nygma and he would begin his transformation into the Riddler. Similarly, Jerome, the single episode psychotic circus teen who may be a young joker will be back for more madness an mayhem in the show's second season.

Fox also admitted that they were considering adding the court of owls to the show, but as of yet had not made a decision. For those not in the know, the court of owls are a relatively recent group of batman villains who made their appearance in Scott Snyder's run of Batman during DC's new 52 reboot. They are a collection of Gothamites who secretly run the city and dispatch assassins, known as talons, to take out wealthy and influential people who are moving the city in a direction they don't like.

Gotham season one resumes with episode 19 on Aprli 13th in the USA. Would you be excited to see the court of owls make an appearance in Gotham?
