Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' Headed To Cinemas

The latest instalment in the Dragon Ball franchise, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F', will be headed to cinemas nationwide in the USA this Summer. FUNimation Entertainment have snapped up distribution rights for the eagerly awaited movie and announced their plans yesterday.

The movie will follow on from the events of 2013's Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods and Beerus, one of the movie's titular Gods will return in some capacity. This movie sees Sorbet and Tagoma, all that remains of Frieza's army heading to Earth in search of the Dragon Balls. The pair manage to collect all seven and summon Shenron. Their wish: to resurrect Frieza, and Shenron obliges. A newly reborn Frieza then seeks revenge against Goku and any other surviving Saiyans.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' is set to release in Japan on April 18, and this Summer in the USA.
