The comedy series of Atlanta and Better Things will be back on FX as the channel announces a further 10 episodes taking each show into their second seasons.

FX Networks and FX Productions' Nick Grad and Eric Schrier made the announcement that more is now on the horizon for the shows.

"It is clear to us that Atlanta and Better Things have struck a nerve with viewers, which is a credit to Donald Glover’s vision for Atlanta and Pamela Adlon’s vision for Better Things," said the FX network presidents. "They, along with their spectacular casts, writers and directors, have created exceptional shows that we are incredibly proud to produce."

Donald Glover's Atlanta, in which he also stars, focuses on two cousins trying to make it in the music industry. It has pulled in some healthy viewing figures for FX as it dominates the 18-49 demographic with viewership increasing per episode.

Pamela Adlon and Louis C.K.'s Better Things, which stars the former, follows an actress balancing the Hollywood life and raising her three daughters as a single parent. It's known as FX's "most female-driven comedy" and comes in close behind Atlanta among 18-34s.

Better Things is still in season 1 with episode 3 airing September 22nd on FX, with Atlanta continuing its first season with episode 5 due September 27th on FX.
