Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher And Debbie Reynolds Release Date Changed
In view of the recent passing of Hollywood stars Carrie Fisher and her mother Debbie Reynolds, HBO is airing their Bright Lights documentary earlier.
Now we can all enjoy the bittersweet glimpse into the professional and family lives of the Fisher family, who are effectively 'Hollywood royalty'.
Carrie Fisher is most well known for her iconic role as Princess Leia Organa from George Lucas' Star Wars universe, with her mother Debbie Reynolds having starred in the 1952 classic Singin' in the Rain and who went on to a prolific career on screen.
The documentary mostly focuses on the mother-daughter relationship between Carrie and Debbie, and how the family saw and enjoyed many successes, but also had to weather serious challenges such as Carrie's manic depression.
Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds premieres January 7th, 2017 on HBO.
