Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Wii U Port Achieved! Next Stop: Vita!

As you might have seen earlier this week, Koji Igarashi’s Kickstarter project ‘Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’ was upping the number of console editions by adding the Wii U as a stretch goal. Surprising nobody, that $3,000,000 milestone has been and gone, leaving room for even more stretching.

As of today, two new goals have been added; if the campaign reaches $3,250,000 we’ll be seeing asynchronous online multiplayer which allows players to “‘borrow’ a friend's character stats for a certain amount of time”, ghost data and the ability to see a friend’s gravestone if they die in a level, plus more to come.

If that stretch goal wasn’t enough, a further $3,500,000 milestone has been added which will bring a Playstation Vita port to the table, handled by the same team working on the Wii U edition: Armature Studios.

Finally, the Kickstarter has added a few more details about the aforementioned Wii U release; the game will include Pro Controller support, a map on the Gamepad screen with drawing/annotation capabilities, off-screen play, Mii verse interaction, and the in-game Mii characters.

Bloodstained is due to finish its Kickstarter in less than two weeks.
