Microsoft Announces Windows 10 For Summer 2015
Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 will launch this summer in 190 countries, and will be a free upgrade for current Windows 7, 8.1 and 8.1 phone users for over a year.
DirectX 12, Microsoft's latest graphics technology, will ship alongside the new OS, which is said to be 50% - 70% more efficient than DirectX 11 at rendering speed and CPU power consumption.
Windows 10 will also allow users of the Xbox One to play against PC players online in certain titles such as Fable Legends, and stream Xbox One games to their PC over a local network.
There hasn't been any price information revealed for Windows 10 yet, but we expect to learn more as the summer approaches.
