Monster Hunter Stories Gets Second Trailer
The cutesy spin-off of the Monster Hunter series has received a second trailer, introducing the main cast and the world around them, as well as showing off some gameplay.
Monster Hunter Stories features a turn-based battle system and follows the story of a young hero who has just completed their Rider trial, ready to step outside of their village and head into the dangerous world.
The game has been designed with all ages in mind, according to a developer interview, the visuals are appealing and the story is not quite as serious as other entries in the series. You'll control a Rider, a person who forms bonds between themselves and the Monsters around them, as opposed to the more familiar Hunters who... well, hunt them.
Monster Hunter Stories is heading to Nintendo 3DS later this year in Japan while a Western release will be considered if there's enough interest in the localisation.
