Fallout 4 Is Selling Like Hotcakes

No surprise here really... the most anticipated game of the year is bringing in the big bucks for Bethesda Softworks.

In a report, the company confirmed that Fallout 4 has shipped 12 million copies during launch week, with “record sales” across retail and digital sales through PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and Steam.

Fallout 4 topped Grand Theft Auto V's record of most concurrent players on at a time on its first day of release on Steam with over 445,000 players on at once... Grand Theft Auto V's record was 300,000. The game had a grand total of 1.2 million PC owners on the platform during the entirety of day one as well. To give the company more bragging rights in terms of popularity, not only was Fallout 4 the most pre-ordered game, but the Pip-Boy Edition was also the fastest-selling collector's edition of the year at "leading retailers."
