The Taken King; Destiny’s New Expansion has Leaked Online
Having been leaked directly to Kotaku via marketing materials, a new Destiny expansion is on the horizon titled ‘The Taken King’. It is said to include three new subclasses for each of the three current classes and will be arriving this September, costing you around $30.
Along with these new subclasses, the three will also gain a new elemental ability corresponding to the elements which the classes lack; an Arc electrical storm for Warlocks, a Void gravity bow for the Hunters, and a Solar hammer for the Titans.
This new expansion will have all the bells and whistles like the other two, including new PvP maps, but it will also have you taking on Oryx, the father of previous raid boss Crota, in a new raid. Oryx is out for revenge against those who took the life of his son and at his disposal are a legion of new enemies known as the Taken.
Release details may change but Kotaku’s information stated The Taken King is expected to arrive on September 15.
