The Nice Guys: First Red Band Trailer Packs a Mean Punch
The Nice Guys – Shane Black’s stylish, hyper violent black comedy set in the 70’s has had its first trailer released and its glorious.
Seriously, on the strength of this alone, it might be a contender for the best film of 2016.
Staring Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe as down-on-his-luck private eye Holland March and hired leg-breaker Jackson Healy, who must work together to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. During their investigation, they uncover a shocking conspiracy that reaches up to the highest circles of power.
Black, who has previously directed Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Iron Man 3, has put together a mix of comedy, action and thriller, set in 1970s Los Angeles. The cast for this one also includes Matt Bomer, Margaret Qualley and Ty Simpkins, and it's due in UK cinemas on June 3rd 2016.
