Eidos Release Over 17 Minutes Of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided City-Hub Gameplay

There's nothing quite like city-hub gameplay to get Deus Ex fans eyes glued to the screen and that's exactly what Eidos Montreal has just released with over 17 minutes of footage.

In this lengthy gameplay video we visit the city-hub of Prague, which is a major location in the new Mankind Divided and we start 30 hours in the timeline after the horrific train station bombing that has been teased in previous trailers.

For the purposes of the demo Eidos has on infinite energy and ammo so they can show off everything without having to pillage ammo boxes or munch on energy-giving candy.

The whole demo opens with something a little reminiscent of Human Revolution as Jensen experiences some problems with his augmentations and needs them checked out. We all remember our trip to Pritchard at Sarif Industries for calibration, right?

The developers narrate over the action we see in the demo. We'll have plenty to interact with, even just in Jensen's apartment. They briefly show item management and how news on the TV play bigger roles in the apartment but aren't shown fully in this demo. We can make calls too, like to our old boss David Sarif that can lead to an optional mission.

Our trip to Vaclav Koller, our underground augmentation doctor/surgeon/technician, actually presents the first chance for how to approach a dangerous situation as some gangster thugs are in his bookstore. The demo doesn't go straight over there as first it explores some of the city-hub. Be sure to check out the gamplay demo below.
