Tombs Still To Be Raided For PS4, Rise Of The Tomb Raider "Set For Holiday 2016"
What happened to Lara Croft's latest action adventure for PlayStation 4? Rise of the Tomb Raider was noticeably absent from E3 this year but Square Enix assure us it's coming.
It's been whisper quiet from Crystal Dynamics on the state of the PS4 version of the latest Tomb Raider which first released as a timed exclusive for Xbox One and Xbox 360 in 2015, before eventually coming to PC January this year. PlayStation 4 was always billed last.
"...Rise of the Tomb Raider's PlayStation 4 release is set for Holiday 2016," confirmed Square Enix on the publisher's official forums.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is the continuation of the rebooted franchise with a younger and more inexperienced Lara Croft. Writer Rhianna Pratchett once again is the lead wordsmith for the project having helped create the well received Tomb Raider in 2013.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming to PlayStation 4 this Holiday 2016.
