Amanda Seyfried Arrives in Twin Peaks
Following last year’s announcement and then its brief delay, Twin Peaks is back, and is currently filming in Washington State. And joining the original cast will be Amanda Seyfried, who has just signed up for a mystery role.
No stranger to TV – before he jump to movies her CV included appearances in Veronica Mars, CSI, Law & Order, House MD and Wildfire – Segfried is rumoured to playing the daughter of Agent Dale Cooper and Annie Blackburn.
The third series was written by David Lynch and Mark Frost, with Lynch directing the whole run – which may have been extended from its initial run of nine to eighteen.
Kyle MacLachlan, Ray Wise, Sheryl Lee and Sherilyn Fenn are among the returning cast, and the series will arrive on Showtime next year, marking Twin Peaks' 25th anniversary.
