Hob Release Date Announced Late September
Runic Games has announced their new game Hob will be coming to PC and PlayStation 4 in late September. Explore a stunning world, solve puzzles, fix the world.
Unlike Torchlight and its sequel, Hob is about puzzle solving to try and fix a damaged world. It focuses more on exploration and overcoming environmental obstacles than it does spelunking dungeons, bashing monsters and hoarding loot.
There will be combat against dangerous creatures but some might also prove friendly, tease Runic. "From twitching purple claws of rogue life to the majestic stilt-horses wandering the plains, the world is teeming with life. Nothing, however, is inherently good or evil. Instead, all of the life forms are locked in a Darwinian struggle for the survival of their own species. Some creatures may try to eat you, others could become your friends. Where do you fit in?"
