The Escapists 2 Announced, Sequel Includes "Drop-in/Drop-out" Multiplayer
Breaking out of the pokey returns as The Escapists 2 gets announced by developer Mouldy Toof and publisher Team17. The sequel was revealed during TwitchCon.
The sandbox-style prison escape simulator - which totally prepares you for it real-life - returns with all-new inventive means of ending your sentence early. Multi-level prisons offer a fresh dimension to deal with as you plot an escape.
"The Escapists 2 takes everything the fans loved from the first game and adds in so many new additions and features on top. I can’t wait to see what the fans think!” said Mouldy Toof Studios founder, Chris Davis.
Combat has been revamped and now features lock-on targeting and blocking, with light and heavy attacks. It keeps that same visual style as the original but The Escapists 2 refines its shiny pixels to be more pleasing to the eye.
We can also customise our character from switching genders to growing mullets. There's also a lot more in the ways of activities in the prison to help bide your time.
The Escapists 2 releases on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2017.
