Undefeated: Jeremy Renner Attached to Star as Boxer Rocky Marciano
Jeremy Renner is ready to fight the big fight as he tries his hand at cinematic pugilism as he tackles the true life tale of boxing legend Rocky Marciano in Undefeated.
The boxer, who served as the inspiration for Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky, famously retired without having either lost a professional fight, ending up with an unmatched 49-0 record.
Producer Morris S. Levy holds his life rights and has Samuel Franco and Evan Kilgore at work on a script, has attached Renner and is now looking for a director to bring it to life.
Before Renner steps into the ring, there’s the small matter of an all-out Marvel smack down with Captain America: Civil War on April 29.
