Hasbro Studios says Transformers 5 "on its way, and 6 and 7 and 8"
More Autobot and Decepticon battles are coming as Hasbro Studios president Stephen Davis reveals they've got a solid plan in place for the next decade, and it involves a lot more Transformers on the big screen.
Hasbro likes what it has seen with Marvel capitalising on the many individual superhero character movies and so they plan to explore individual Transformers like Bumblebee getting their own time in the spotlight. Spin-offs are almost certain if these new major films are proceeding. Transformers 5 is the next schedule dose of robot warfare wrecking our expensive cities.
"You're going to see a new Transformers movie coming from Hasbro and Paramount and Michael Bay and our other partners," Davis said at Cannes. "We decided that we wanted to plot out the next 10 years of Transformers... similarly, we are doing the same in television and in digital. So stay tuned, Transformers 5 is on its way, and 6 and 7 and 8."
Transformers 5 is due for release worldwide at cinema in 2017.
