New Indiana Jones Movie Confirmed By Kathleen Kennedy
Grab those idols and crack those whips; Indiana Jones V is happening…although in what form and when remains to be seen.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair Star Wars and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy said: “[An Indiana Jones film] will one day be made inside this company. When it will happen, I’m not quite sure. We haven’t started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it."
Rumours have already placed the iconic fedora on Chris Pratt’s bonce but with both his characters in Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World sharing similar traits to Henry Jones Jr that might put pay to him taking the role on…or make it twice as easy for everyone to say yes. Another has Steven Spielberg returning to direct.
But before we fall head first into this snake pit (“Asps…very dangerous. You go first”) Indiana Jones V has been on the cards since 2009 and with development a more painstaking process than archaeology itself it’ll be a long time before we see anyone donning the hat yet.
