Spider-Man: Homecoming’s cast continues to grow as two new members have signed up to help/hinder your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.

According to /Film, Logan Marshall-Green - who's pictured above and its totally not Tom Hardy - best known for starring in Prometheus will join Michael Keaton on the side of evil. And Martin Starr of Silicon Valley has boarded in yet another mystery role.

Spider-Man: Homecoming’s main villain will of course be Michael Keaton, who is rumoured to be playing the Vulture, but as to Marshall-Green is playing, what with Spider-Man’s rich gallery of rogues to choose from, your guess is as good as ours. He may even be playing someone new entirely.

We know even less about who Martin Starr will be playing. If we were to speculate based on the type of characters he has played before, Starr tends to play geeky roles from Bill Haverchuck in Freaks and Geeks to Roman DeBeers in Party Down to Bertram Gilfoyle in Silicon Valley, although he has had similar success going against type too.

Director Jon Watts has assembled quite the cast – although what he plans to do with it remains a secret – names announced so far include: Tom Holland as Spider-Man, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Zendaya as the as-yet-unnamed female lead.

Kenneth Choi, Michael Barbieri, Tony Revolori, and Laura Harrier are also part of the cast.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will begin shooting this summer for release on July 7, 2017.
