The new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, titled Hearts of Stone, is just days away from releasing... Will it be good enough to make us grasp Geralt's sword once again? Let's see what the critics have to say!

Hearts of Stone will feature over ten hours of new adventures and introduces new characters, a new system of Runewords, powerful monsters, unique romance, and an entirely new storyline shaped by gamer choices. It'll take players to the wilds of No Man's Land and the nooks and alleys of Oxenfurt, as you attempt to complete a contract from the mysterious Man of Glass.

Here's what critics think of the latest DLC release:

XGN - 95 out of 100
"A completely new storyline, new side quests, and new areas to explore all come together in this stunning first DLC for the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. A must have for all Witcher fans."

IGN Spain - 94 out of 100
"Hearts of Stone has an outstanding story with wonderful characters that bring alive again the books of Sapowski."

GameSpot - 90 out of 100
"In combat and out, the quests are engrossing. Deeper themes permeate character actions and plot points."

Meristation - 90 out of 100
"A great expansion that adds to an already excellent game. Good balance between price, quality, and content thanks to a great story."

Gameblog.fr - 70 out of 100
"Even though its difficulty is far from perfectly set and some additions (runewords particularly) don't feel very useful, it's a pleasure to be able to ride with Geralt to some new locations and accomplish a few more new side quests."

Hearts of Stone releases on October 13th and will cost those without the Season Pass $9.99. You can pre-purchase on Steam today for a discount of 15% off, making the price you pay $8.49.

The next expansion, Blood and Wine, will have over twenty hours of gameplay and will introduce players to the region of Toussaint, a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret. It is expected to release in Q1 2016. You can "Track" its release by CLICKING HERE to stay informed on when you can see more of Geralt in the new year!
