After hitting PC last month, Funcom's single-player psychological horror experience will be heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One early next year.

Funcom's CEO, Rui Casais, stated "Encouraged by the positive reactions we have received on the Windows PC version, we are very excited about bringing it to consoles. Exploring a dark, sinister and frankly terrifying location from the comfort of your sofa, with the lights turned off and controller in hand, is sure to be a very rewarding experience."

The PC version of The Park launched just before Halloween and quickly became popular on Twitch and Youtube. A quick search on the latter brings up a collective 7,000,000+ views across various channels.

The Park sticks you in the shoes of "Lorraine, a mother whose son goes missing at the Atlantic Island Park. Here players must explore the dilapidated amusement park and face panic and paranoia as they progress unravel Lorraine's story and the history of the park itself." In total, the game lasts around 1-2 hours focusing on exploration and narrative and has garnered fairly positive reviews.

If you're interested in picking up The Park on consoles, be sure to track the game with our online calendar to be alerted when the game arrives.
