We Won’t Be Seeing Cyberpunk 2077 Until 2017… Maybe Even Later
The ever-busy CD Projekt RED have been working on Cyberpunk 2077 since before it was announced in 2012 but it sounds like we won’t be seeing the title released until at least 2017, perhaps even later. This tidbit has come from an interview with CD Projekt CEO Adam Kicinski who believes it is simply “too early” to talk about the game as of now.
“We hope and we are certain that Cyberpunk has even bigger commercial potential. It is too early to talk about it, though. This year, and the next one will be the years of the Witcher,” said Kicinski when speaking to Reuters.
For those who haven’t heard much of Cyberpunk 2077, the game is based on the series of tabletop games under the same name. Otherwise, we’ve not heard much from the developers about the game in a while: the last update on the official development blog was posted more than two years ago.
