Pre-Order PlayStation VR
PlayStation VR is launching this October and will mark a new chapter for console gaming. Oculus and Vive have already launched and are getting great reviews from those lucky enough to get their hands on one of the headsets. With the growing interest in VR we can probably expect a similar shortage during the first few months when PSVR launches this fall. The pre-order of the PSVR bundle sold out in minutes and it is uncertain when it will become available again.
Several web shops are still taking pre-orders for the standard edition and if you do the math the only extra the bundle gives you is the inclusion of the PlayStation VR World disc which is more or less a demo disc featuring 5 different VR experiences. If you are more into real games and want to get your hands on PSVR around launch you are better off just pre-ordering the standard headset and add a the camera and a couple of motion controllers to your pre-order. It will cost you more or less the same as the bundle and you can probably pick up a copy of PlayStation World for a few bucks on Ebay a few weeks after launch anyway.
