Spider-Man: Standalone Movie Release Date Brought Forward
Swinging in earlier than expected the first standalone Spider-Man film under Marvel's co-stewardship is set to land in the summer of 2017.
For those who can’t wait to find out just how Spider-Man got his powers, Tom Holland will be debuting his take on Spider-Man in April's Captain America: Civil War, before joining up with director Jon Watts for the next film.
Thanks to a release date shift around, Spider-Man has moved from its original release of July 28th 2017 to July 7th of that summer – that’s three weeks earlier!
Giving up its July 7th space will be Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales which itself has been moved forward to May 2017.
