New Trailer For Michael Fassbender's Slow West
The western and Michael Fassbender. Some things are just made to go together. In this case the ‘some things’ are Slow West, and we now have a brand new trailer for this classic old west yarn reports Empire.
The story sees Kodi Smit-McPhee’s Jay Cavendish journey from Scotland to the new American frontier in the late 19th century to find the girl he loves, picking up mysterious "chaperone” Silas (Fassbender) along the way.
Who is this enigmatic stranger? Why does he choose to protect his young charge? And can he prevent Ben Mendelsohn’s villain from inflicting mischief upon Jay’s young love Rose, played by Caren Pistorius.
It’s the surprising but - if festival word of mouth is anything to go by - impressive debut movie by The Beta Band's John Maclean.
Slow West gets a release in the UK on June 26.
