HBO: "Preliminary Discussions" For Watchmen TV Series
Have there been talks going on about a possible Watchmen TV series? HBO has confirmed that there's been "preliminary discussions regarding Watchmen" but they've nothing to announce about any deals.
Director Zack Snyder and cable channel HBO - home to Game of Thrones - have been reportedly discussing the idea about taking the comic book to TV, although it's not known how much it would tie into the film - if at all. It could directly adapt the comic book or take place before or after the movie's spin on things which released in 2009.
Synder is currently directing The Justice League Part One & Part Two, and has recently completed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
