Independence Day: Resurgence Trailer From Super Bowl, London Inconvenienced
What better way to treat American football fans during the Super Bowl than by showing a bunch of aliens invading and London being destroyed? Independence Day: Resurgence had its own TV commercial trailer that aired, and only Jeff Goldblum can save us.
This sequel is set two decades after the first time we had to take a beating before we learnt aliens are just as bad with keeping their anti-virus software up-to-date as we are and hit them with some serious malware pop-ups, or something. The point is we started knocking their big ships out of the sky. Now the aliens have returned and seem... a little angry.
