Always Sunny Co-Creator to Take on Minecraft Movie
The Minecraft movie finally has a director in place, ready to start working. Co-creator and star of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Rob McElhenney will be taking the reigns of the project.
McElhenney's involvement was confirmed last night on Twitter as he tweeted "Hey @Mojang let's do something strange and wonderful."
In the past, McElhenney has directed three episodes of his own show, as well as upcoming TV movie Pariah. The Minecraft movie is still in development, details are currently scarce and a release date is unavailable.
