Shadwen Announced For PS4, Releasing In May
Frozenbyte, the developers behind the Trine series and Shadowgrounds, have announced that their next game, stealth-action title Shadwen, will be coming to the PlayStation 4. More good news - you won't have to wait long for it!
What's a Shadwen? Good question. Shadwen is actually the name of the game's protagonist. She's an assassin on a quest to kill a ruthless king. As you can see in the screenshot above, this chick isn't going to let anyone get in her way. As far as gameplay goes, her biggest task will be traversing areas without being seen. Any sight of her by the enemy will result in conflict - which could very well compromise her mission.
To aid you on your journey, Shadwen will be given a rope to tackle the medieval world, as well as the ability to rewind time and manipulate past and present actions. As you can see above, an inventory option will allow her to carry weapons such as spike devices, decoy toys, or poison traps to quickly get rid of her enemies.
