Orphan Black Renewed For Fifth And Final Season In 2017
There's another season of action drama Orphan Black but it will also be the last. The sci-fi show all about genetics, clones and assassins promises to deliver "an epic conclusion".
"The past four seasons have been a phenomenal adventure, and we are eternally grateful to our loyal fans who have loved the twists and thrills of our weird little show," said showrunners John Fawcett and Graeme Manson.
The entire series starts off with a streetwise girl witnessing the suicide of a women who just happens to look like herself. She assumes the now dead girls life hoping to smash and grab what she can before disappearing, but soon gets caught up in a startling revelation.
"Our genius team of actors, writers, and producers have, time after time, taken us to a place of awe, delight, and utter shock and surprise," they continued.
"Tatiana has been and continues to be a complete revelation - hers is one of the most remarkable performances on television, and she is joined by an extraordinary cast. We can't wait to take our incredibly passionate audience on one final gob-smacking clone adventure."
The final ten episodes of Orphan Black season 5 will commence in 2017, while the season 4 finale has just taken place. It stars Tatiana Maslany, Jordan Gavaris, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Kristian Bruun, Kevin Hanchard and Dylan Bruce.
