Iron Harvest Announced

A real-time strategy for PC and console called Iron Harvest has been announced by KING Art Games and artist Jakub Różalski. It's set in an alternate 1920s.

Mankind has an even greater obsession with technology in Iron Harvest and imposing walking machines have been invented that became part of everyday life following the Great War's conclusion. However fresh trouble is now on the horizon with all-new technologies of conflict.

Iron Harvest takes great inspiration from the likes of Company of Heroes and Men at War, so squad control and use of cover mechanics and dynamic environment destruction play out over large open sandbox-style maps.

“We love games like Company of Heroes or Men at War and want to bring a similar gameplay experience to this fantastic world Jakub created,” Jan Theysen, Project Lead at KING Art Games explains. “You lead hero characters, mechs, and soldiers into epic battles in open sandbox maps. Cover mechanics and dynamic destruction play a major role in combat.”

This alternate history examines the strong, proud but humiliated Saxony Empire, the struggling Polania Republic looking to modernise its military forces, and the hulking but weary Rusviet who appears on the brink of revolution. These are the alternate versions of Germany, Poland and Russia.

Iron Harvest releases on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2018.
