Unrated Fifty Shades of Grey DVD Set For May Release
Daring to reveal that little bit more, the unrated version of EL James whip-a-thon Fifty Shades of Grey is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on May 8th, with digital versions available on 1st May.
The movie starring Dakota Johnson (The Social Network) and Jamie Dornan (The Fall) took a thrashing from the critics but that didn’t stop it thrusting to the top of the world box office – grossing over $500 million.
The unrated version, which will be available alongside the theatrical one, features an unseen ending and over two hours of bonus footage.
Profiles of both Johnson and Dornan and how the film was developed will form part of the bonus features, alongside behind-the-scenes footage, music videos and an in-depth chat with the book's author EL James.

The film which drew heavy criticism from domestic violence groups for its portrayal of a potentially abusive relationship, received an 18 certificate from the British Board of Film Classification for "strong sex and nudity" when it was released in UK cinemas.
However, the film was banned in India and Malaysia, and all its sex scenes were cut for Vietnam - although France passed the film with only a 12 rating, calling it "schmaltzy".
