Bethesda's Fallout 4 has just launched today for the PC and console masses and already Steam's concurrent player chart is in danger of needing some Rad-X as Fallout 4 leaves the Vault and takes second place.

It has beaten Grand Theft Auto V's highest concurrent player count by around 100k more players as it topped 290k, whereas GTAV achieved 196,700 at its peak. It should be noted however that Fallout 4 requires Steam to play whereas GTAV could be played through the Rockstar Social Club. Fallout 4's numbers are likely to keep growing as more people get time with the latest release.

Nvidia has also just launched their Game Ready drivers for Fallout 4, Star Wars Battlefront and StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void.
