Koei Tecmo's Attack on Titan Will Start From Original Story's Beginning
If you were looking to pick up the impending Attack on Titan game from Koei Tecmo but haven't caught much of the anime, do not fret! The game will begin from the start of the original story, meaning you won't have to read the manga before playing.
This information was revealed by Koei Tecmo's Managing Director - Hisashi Koinuma - during a recent interview with Dengeki Online. Currently, it is unknown whether or not you'll be stepping into the shoes of Eren, another character, or hopping around between fan-favourites.
Another piece of information revealed was the fact that the PlayStation 4 version of the game will be taking priority in development. As for a release date, we're expecting a western release at some point next year while a Japanese release may make it out before the end of the year.
