XCOM 2 Launches On PC, Tin-Foil Hat Defences Proven Not Enough Against Trailer
Firaxis and 2K Games' turn-based strategy XCOM 2 is now available on PC and has unleashed a campaign of fear, abduction, genetic experimentation, mass indoctrination and liberal probing. Earth has fallen to the benevolent dictatorship of our new alien overlords.
While XCOM: Enemy Unknown had us battling the invasion and trying to keep the world in one piece, XCOM 2 assumes mankind lost the fight. Firaxis didn't just arbitrarily decide this as they collected player data and most XCOM campaigns didn't succeed at saving the day. Now the XCOM project is a ragtag-ish group of freedom fighters taking on the machine!
XCOM 2 launches on PC today, February 5th.
