Post-Apocalyptic Future For "Zorro Reborn" Film Project
Z for Zorro. The long awaited fate of the Zorro film franchise appears bleak as its going post-apocalyptic with Zorro Reborn set in the future where the mythical hero will take on tyrants.
Lantica Media and Sobini Films are teaming up to bring the world this new Zorro film but they've yet to find a filmmaker for the project. Previous attempts at 20th Century Fox collapsed.
"This has been a 15-year journey filled with ups and downs, but it has remained my passion project over the years," said Sobini CEO Mark Amin. "Every generation has its own Zorro hero and we’re proud to be able to introduce a new Zorro to this generation," added Lantica boss Antonio Gennari.
The last Zorro film was back in 2005 with The Legend of Zorro, starring Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
