In-Game Snapchats Tease New Call of Duty

As marketing continues to struggle to chase after the ever-adapting youth, it seems Activision have taken another step towards social media: Snapchat is now being used to tantalise players over the next Call of Duty title.

Despite attempts to remain cryptic and mysterious, the grainy Snapchats were discovered when the app's scannable logos were found within Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, printed on in-game billboards. Upon scanning, the app would send you to the official Call of Duty account where teaser videos could be received.

Undoubtedly, this campaign will result in the reveal of a new Black Ops game as, earlier this year, Activision announced that Treyarch would take on this year's release as part of the three-year development cycle Activision currently has in place.
