GTA V Online Patch Fixes Frame-Rate but Will Break Mods
Rockstar has published a new patch for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V Online after frame-rate issues caused by the Ill-Gotten Gains DLC. However, as you might expect, this patch has negatively affected Story Mode mods.
The developer has commented explaining that they are not "actively targeting players using mods in Story Mode" but "mods are still unauthorised and as such, Title Updates may cause Story Mode mods to behave in unexpected ways because they are not supported or tested, and players run them at their own risk."
If you're desperate to get rid of the low frame-rate, it is likely that the individuals behind more popular mods will eventually fix their creation. This patch is already available and will suck up 91 MB from your hard drive.
