Urban Myths Trailer
A trailer for the upcoming series of short 30 minute comedy sketches called Urban Myths has been released. The series looks at big name celebrities like Bob Dylan.
In fact the series, which examines certain 'urban myths' about well-known figures, courted some controversy when it cast Joseph Fiennes as the late Michael Jackson, who can be seen in the trailer. Each episode is a one-off comedy sketch examining what 'could have been' with these myths.
It even takes a look at an 18-year-old Adolf Hitler (Iwan Rheon) attempting to get entry into a distinguished Arts Academy, only to be stung by rejection and... not taking it so well, to put it mildly. His friend August (Rupert Grint) is a talented musician and tries to help his friend Adolf.
Other episodes look at Bob Dylan (Eddie Marsan), playwright Samuel Beckett, Hollywood legend Cary Grant (Ben Chaplin), Elizabeth Taylor (Stockard Channing), Michael Jackson (Joseph Fiennes), Marlon Brando (Brian Cox), Muhammad Ali, The Sex Pistols, Salvador Dali and Alice Cooper.
Urban Myths will be broadcast on Sky Arts February 9th, 2017.
