Telltale Games Marvel Game Is Guardians Of The Galaxy
Striking actors who lend their vocal cords to games have revealed through their union (SAG-AFTRA) that Telltale Games is working on Guardians of the Galaxy.
It's no surprise that Telltale has a Marvel license in their episodic hands as that was already announced, but now we know exactly which of the crazy comic book universes we'll be making decisions and QTE'ing our way through.
Officially this is still rumour as Telltale are yet to just admit what we now all know to be true. Listed beneath "Guardians of the Galaxy - The Video Game a/k/a/ Blue Harvest" is The Walking Dead Season 3. Both of these are handled by O'Farrell Enterprises, LLC.
Was Guardians of the Galaxy a good pick out of Marvel's line-up? It's an opportune moment given the rising popularity of the feature films. Telltale have gone for more obscure licences in the past, such as the quite excellent crime caper, The Wolf Amongst Us. Currently they're still releasing their first season of Batman and have in the past tackled Jurassic Park and Sam & Max.
Telltalle Games' Marvel title is due for release in 2017.
