First Trailer for Matt Damon Comedy Downsizing
Following an appropriately short teaser trailer, we’ve now got a full-size trailer for Alexander Payne’s Downsizing.
The film takes place in a world in which scientists attempt to solve the problem of overpopulation by shrinking people to five inches tall – thereby using less resources and taking up much less space.
Giving people a new lease of life, the newly re-sized people might be richer but their new life does come with a few challenges – not to mention that the process is irreversible.
Matt Damon and Kristen Wiig play a couple from Omaha, Nebraska who decide to get the life-changing procedure. Jason Sudeikis, Christoph Waltz, Hong Chau, Laura Dern and Neil Patrick Harris also star.
Co-written by Payne and his creative partner Jim Taylor, Downsizing is set for releases from 22 December.
