Impact Winter Release Date Confirmed
The Kickstarted and Greenlit post-apocalypse survival adventure Impact Winter is nearly ready to come out of the cold as Bandai Namco sign the indie game.
Indie team Mojo Bones began their trek into the frozen wastes of development years back when they started their Kickstarter campaign in 2014. Since then things haven't been as smooth as they or backers would have liked but release is near.
Bandai Namco have stepped in to publish the snowy hellscape worldwide in early 2017. Impact Winter is all about holding on for 30 days in a buried church with other survivors until an apparent rescue arrives, if a mysterious radio signal is to be believed. Along the way you'll have to traverse The Void, which is the name for the world now that it snows all the time.
How did the world get so chilly? An asteroid impact completely screwed the Earth plunging temperatures and making the invention of a fire a really big deal again. We'll get help from a robotic buddy called Ako-Light to scavenge, and we can upgrade our church hideout.
Impact Winter releases on PC in Early 2017.
