Tesco Briefly Listed Nintendo NX For £350 With December 31st Placeholder Date

Has something slipped through? Supermarket goliath Tesco had briefly included the upcoming Nintendo NX console on their official website with a price and 'release date'.

While the listed launch of December 31st screams as an obvious placeholder (it's due March 2017) for the new and hybrid-like Nintendo NX, the more interesting part is the price listing of £349.99. That's certainly a step above the Nintendo Wii price points.

The Nintendo NX has been ambiguously described as a cross between a standard home console and a hand-held, suggesting that the NX could easily be either or both depending on what developers want for their game. Pokémon Company is already interested.

Sony is already gearing up for their imminent PlayStation VR launch at £350 in the UK, which will be followed by the equally priced PlayStation 4 Pro - the improved revision of the PS4. It seems £350 is something of a sweet spot but can the NX grab attention?

Nintendo is yet to make a big announcement when it comes to their next hardware platform, and the Nintendo NX is expected to land in March 2017.

Will the Nintendo NX be priced at £350, or could that be for a 'premium' version?
