Andrew House Confirms Development of PlayStation 4 Neo
It won't be showing up at E3 however, according to a new interview with the Financial Times. The PlayStation 4 'Neo' will be a new, more powerful version of the console "intended to sit alongside and complement the standard PS4."
House also confirmed that this will not be the death of the PlayStation 4 and that Sony "will be selling both [versions] through the life cycle." On the other hand, however, we imagine the very mention of a newer model might have an effect on sales of the original device.
In terms of what will run on the PlayStation 4 Neo, House stated "all or a very large majority of games will also support the high-end PS4."
